I had a great time shooting with Kristin and Steve on Sunday. We started off at Blossom Heath in St. Clair Shores and finished up in Mt. Clemens. After spending almost two hours with them I am really excited and looking forward to their wedding next May.

This Saturday I had the chance to shoot Ryan and Ashley’s wedding in Lenox at Ashley’s parent’s house. I absolutely love shooting weddings that take place outside of the normal reception hall setting. There is so much time and effort that go into these weddings and it shows in all of the details, big and small. It was an amazing setting for a great wedding. Thanks to everyone who helped make this day so enjoyable for me!

This is usually the time that I would be posting the slideshow from this weekends wedding, but I took an unexpected day off today so I am running a little behind. Sunday was, in a word – perfect. I had the chance to shoot Jason and Leah’s wedding in St. Joseph. It was an great day, a great couple and some really amazing new areas to shoot. After a quick visit with the girls I met up with Jason and the guys at their loft in Benton Harbor, and found my favorite spot in the world to shoot.
From there the day really moved, the ceremony followed at Trinity Lutheran Church, shooting in downtown St Joseph was great and then a great party at the Veranda. Throughout the day I had the best time with Jason, Leah and their family and friends.
Thanks to my good friend and “assistant” for the day who got this shot at the end of the night!

You do beautiful work. I thought you really captured Leah and Jason. I really, really liked your use of architecture in your photos. Very different and enjoyable.
Here’s hoping….in probably quite a few years….you may still be in this business and would come back for my kids’ weddings.

I was blessed to be able to shoot two outstanding weddings this past weekend, starting on Saturday with Chris and Laura’s. They were married at Holy Family Parish in Columbus and finished the evening with their reception at Alexander’s in Port Huron. Thanks you Chris and Laura for a great day.
